Family of Army Soldier with Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD, and cognitive deficits in Florida is in need of two significant repairs to home.  Family has 8 school age children – their home was modified by some well-intended folks to meet the needs of their large family, however, modifications left them with a moldy bathroom and high energy bills.  Repair work needed to eliminate mold problem in bathroom includes tearing out the entire shower and tub area.  Electrician has indicated the home’s two small air conditioners run continuously to cool the house – which creates a tremendous energy drain, which results in very high electric bills (which further challenge this large family’s finances).  Family needs a new, appropriately sized air conditioner but cannot afford it at this time.
